About

I'm a Ph.D. student in Natural Language Processing (NLP) at the Linguistic Computing Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science at La Sapienza University of Rome, under the supervision of Prof. Roberto Navigli.
I completed my studies in Computer Science in 5 years obtaining both bachelor and master’s degrees with a vote of 110/110 magna cum laude. My master’s thesis aims to address the so-called “knowledge bottleneck” problem in the NLP field of Semantic Parsing and presents an unsupervised method for the automatic extraction of language-independent semantic structures on a large-scale from not-annotated comparable corpora.
My actual research interests are now the latest neural techniques for in Semantic Parsing and Word Sense Disambiguation.
In my free time I play modern jazz guitar, play with retrogames and develop DIY projects. I love traveling as well, especially in nordic countries, where I usually feel more at home.
