SINS'14 (Social Impact through Network Science) will be the first workshop of a series on Lake Como in Italy.
There are by now many technical events at the confluence of large data analysis and social theories. Our objective is to go a step beyond by asking how data analysis can be used for policy and humanitarian purposes.
