Short Bio
I am a postdoctoral research fellow (assegnista di ricerca) at the Department of Computer Science of "Sapienza" University of Rome. Previously, I was a research associate (Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) at the Institute for Computational Linguistics of the University of Heidelberg, Germany. I earned my PhD at the Institute for Natural Language Processing of the University of Stuttgart, Germany - while being hosted as a visiting scientist at EML Research gGmbH, Heidelberg (now HITS) - where I graduated with a dissertation on taxonomic knowledge acquisition from Wikipedia and its application to lexical semantic and discourse phenomena such as computing semantic relatedness and coreference resolution.
